This restaurant is not just a place to eat; it’s an experience that transports you to a world of carefully crafted dishes, served with care and precision.

The restaurant offers a menu that is as diverse as it is delicious. One of the standout features of Cin.na.mon is its ability to fuse traditional Japanese ingredients with modern cooking techniques, creating dishes that are both comforting and innovative. Whether you’re a local or a traveler, the menu is designed to appeal to all tastes, with options ranging from freshly prepared sushi to savory noodle bowls. One of the things I personally love about Cin.na.mon is the way they approach dining. It’s not just about filling up; it’s about savoring each bite, taking in the textures and flavors that have been carefully chosen. From the moment you step inside, you're greeted by a warm, inviting atmosphere. It’s a perfect place to unwind after a day of exploring the island.

The sushi at Cin.na.mon is a must-try. Each piece is prepared with precision, showcasing the freshness of the fish and the skill of the chefs. If you’re someone who loves a good seafood platter, this is the place to indulge. The sashimi is another highlight-thinly sliced and delicately plated, it’s a testament to the quality of the ingredients and the expertise behind the preparation.

Another dish worth mentioning is their ramen, which is comfort in a bowl. The broth is rich and flavorful, with the noodles cooked to perfection. It’s a great option for those looking for a filling, hearty meal that will warm you up from the inside out.

As for the service, it’s nothing short of excellent. The staff at Cin.na.mon are attentive, friendly, and eager to ensure that every guest feels welcome. It's clear that they take pride in creating an exceptional dining experience for each and every customer.

I’ve also had the pleasure of trying some of the seasonal specialties offered at Cin.na.mon. These dishes are inspired by the ingredients that are most abundant during different times of the year, and they offer a unique opportunity to taste the changing seasons through food. Whether it’s a dish highlighting the freshness of summer vegetables or a warm, comforting winter stew, these seasonal offerings are a reflection of the restaurant’s commitment to using local, high-quality ingredients.

  • Awesome western-ish Izakaya. Serving sizes are huge, so keep that in mind when ordering. The “large” beer is comically super-sized; maybe 36-48 oz? Everything we ordered food-wise was really tasty. I especially liked the sashimi daikon and bean sprout salad (so refreshing) and the Naoshima seafood curry. The curry flavor is lighter than your normal Japanese curry, with a hint of citrus. Loved the side pickles. The nanban chili mayo fried chicken was also great and generously portioned. Service was fast and our waiter spoke excellent english.

  • I honestly cannot believe I almost went past this place. It’s probably one of my favourite meals this trip. The vibe is very homely and the agedashi tofu is probably the best I’ve had. The curry is hearty. I honestly felt very much at home here. Thank you!

  • Really delicious food in a great atmosphere and friendly staff. The food here is extremely good. Also at a very reasonable price for the area. English menu is available and English is spoken a little bit. The restaurant is quite big, with both counter and tables for larger groups.

  • Far better of the two restaurants we tried in Naoshima. We agree with previous reviews that the portions are big and good value for money. Also confirm the menu has many options. We read some reviews that complained the curry only had ‘two shrimps’. We ordered curry and it certainly had a fair amount of shrimp and squid. The restaurant is very fair and not like the majority of places in Naoshima which aspire to some western ‘chique’ and charge disproportionate prices for what they offer.

  • Extremely tasty and hearty food plus delicate options with great local produce and sublime flavors. Pic is of 3 flavors of fried chicken. Extensive menu compared to other places. Best spot in the area to dine. Interior is also quirky and unique. A must.
